This policy explains how Sidera Games handles information in the game Sidera: Zodiac Tile Match and on this website. Sidera Games is the controller of the data described here and follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018) and, for players in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the GDPR. 1. What we collect and why

Birth details (optional)

To build your birth chart, the game asks for your date, time and city of birth. The game sends the date, the time and the city's coordinates to our chart service, which calculates the positions in your chart and sends them back. These details are used only to calculate your chart. The birth details and the calculated chart are then saved on your device. Giving them is optional: without them, every puzzle level can still be played. Legal basis: your consent, given when you enter the details; you can withdraw it by deleting them (section 4).

Progress and preferences

Completed levels, Stardust, boosters, daily rewards, purchases you own and settings (such as language and sound) are saved on your device. On Android, your device may back this up to your own Google account through Android's backup service, so your progress survives a reinstall or a new phone. You can turn that off in your device's settings.

Gameplay data (our own analytics)

To understand how hard each level is, where players stop, and how to improve the game's balance, the game sends gameplay events to our own analytics service. Examples are a level started, won, lost or left, the boosters used, rewarded ads watched and items bought. With them we send:

The random identifier is not your advertising ID, and we do not store your IP address. We don't link this data to your name, e-mail or any account. We also group players by how they play and spend (for example, players who prefer gentler pacing), to adjust difficulty and offers in the game. We keep gameplay data for 13 months, then delete it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the game.

Settings tests

We may change some of the game's settings remotely, such as rewards or level difficulty, and test different versions with different groups of players. Your group is chosen at random from the identifier above.

The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. Some ads are optional, in exchange for rewards. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:

You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Data › Privacy Choices, which appears where the law requires it. Google's use of data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

In-app purchases

Purchases are made and charged by Google Play or the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details. The game receives a confirmation of what was bought, and keeps a reference to it on your device, so that a purchase is delivered exactly once.

2. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We use these service providers, which process data on our behalf or, for ads, as independent controllers:

Their servers may be outside your country, including in the United States. These transfers are made with the safeguards the LGPD and the GDPR require, such as standard contractual clauses.

3. Children

The game is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

All data the game sends travels encrypted (HTTPS). Only Sidera Games can access our analytics.

6. This website

This website uses no cookies or tracking tools. Its fonts and images are served by the site itself. It only remembers your language choice, in your own browser. Cloudflare, which hosts it, processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.

7. Terms of use

The game and all its content (art, text, music and the Sidera brand) belong to Sidera Games. You may play it for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Important changes will be announced in the game or on this website, and the date at the top of this page always shows the version in effect.
